Customer Terms
Last updated: September 2026
1. Our service
DayCrew Services provides labour for dismantling, carrying, clearing, loading and unloading items. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, DayCrew does not transport or dispose of discarded waste.
2. Disposal and transport
The customer is responsible for arranging any skip, removal vehicle, storage facility or appropriately authorised waste collector required for the job. DayCrew does not arrange waste disposal on the customer's behalf.
3. Information you give us
You must provide accurate information about the items, property, stairs, lifts, parking, access restrictions and any unusually heavy, fragile or valuable items before the booking.
4. Quotes and prices
Prices and estimates are based on the information you provide. If the job materially differs when we arrive, we will explain any additional work or change in price before proceeding.
5. Reasonable care and skill
DayCrew will carry out its services with reasonable care and skill.
6. Existing damage and hidden defects
DayCrew is not responsible for damage that existed before work began or damage arising solely from hidden defects, structural weaknesses or deterioration that could not reasonably have been identified beforehand.
7. Valuable and fragile items
You must identify unusually valuable, fragile or delicate items before work begins. DayCrew may decline to handle an item where the risk is considered excessive.
8. Identified risks
Where DayCrew identifies a particular risk, we may recommend that the work is not attempted. If you nevertheless ask us to proceed, we may require a written risk acknowledgement before continuing.
9. Safety
DayCrew may refuse or stop work where we reasonably believe that continuing would create an unacceptable risk of injury, property damage, illegal activity or exposure to hazardous substances.
10. Excluded materials and work
DayCrew does not handle asbestos, sharps, clinical or biological waste, hazardous chemicals, fuel or other materials we reasonably consider unsafe. We do not provide major demolition, electrical, plumbing or tree-surgery services.
11. Cancellation rights
Where statutory cancellation rights apply, they remain unaffected by these terms. If you ask us to begin a service during a statutory cancellation period, we may ask you to make that request expressly in writing.
12. Problems or damage
If you believe something has been damaged during the service, please tell us as soon as reasonably possible so we can inspect the circumstances and try to resolve the matter.
13. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
